Forgotten Memories

"An abandon cottage which was once inhabited by a family. During the War, every able man was called off to arms leaving their wives and children at home. This had a terrible impact on the families as their women and children are left to survive on their own. Years later, as the war starts to dissolve, it took a terrible toll on everyone. Families mourned over their losses, as men were send home either limping or in coffins. As the men return home grimly... the wife waited anxiously for her husband's return. However as weeks passed, there was no sign of him. She prayed day and night to God, hoping that her husband is still out there searching for a way home. As time passed, the village was tainted by the aftermath of the war which led to many broken families. The villagers starts to leave the town, taking their family, in search for a better life elsewhere. After enduring years to hardship alone, the wife realized that she could not go on living a solitude life like this. So she gathered what was left of her belonging and with heavy-heart, left the cottage without looking back. She left behind her personal journal which holds her most precious moment with her husband and her wedding gift, a typewriter. She believes that one day her husband Will return and find his way to her as their love is eternal... But in time... only time would tell..."
